I was born in 1974 in Turkey. I have my Bachelor’s degree from Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry in 1999. In the same year I was entitled to receive a PhD education and started the doctorate programme in the Department of Periodontology at Marmara University Faculty of Dentistry. During this period, I attended in many various trainings, seminars and congresses in Turkey, Europe and USA.

With a successful defense of my in vivo thesis “Evaluation of the effect of initial periodontal therapy on metabolic control of patients with Type II Diabetes Mellitus” I got the title of Dr. Med Dent in 2005.

As a dentist and registered specialist in Periodontology, I work in Istanbul, Turkey. Moreover, I am a member of the Turkish Periodontology Association (TPD), Turkish Dental Association (TDB), European Association of Periodontology (EPF) and Osseointegration Association (Osseder).

I’ve published numerous scientific articles in many different refereed journals. My strong clinical and research involvement allows me to apply the most proven techniques and innovative biomaterials to treat everything from the simples cases in a minimally invasive way to the most complex bone and gum volume regeneration cases.
